Day 3 on the road with my 2.0 Cloak Tuck.
Happier and happier as days go by.

Even the sweat guard issue has become a non-issue.

That is some serious wear there!

Have you contacted AG?
The fact that the GOVERNMENT would even consider removing the natural right to bear arms is the very reason why the 2nd Amendment was written.

BTW, the 2.0 I decided to use as an "every day" "work and other sweaty activities" holster...does SO well and is SO comfortable, that I rarely have used the 3.0 so far.

I got tired of tightening the screws daily, and applied loc-tite to the 2.0.  The event that pushed me over the edge on that issue was loosing a shell screw on the road one day.

So far I haven't applied loc-tite to the 3.0, because I'm thinking seriously about a slightly different cant for that one.  I'm almost ready to commit on the 3.0.

I have pretty much settled on SHTF Gear holsters for most of my needs.  There are only two tension screws to mess with and I check them weekly.  Although I will say that they probably don't see the hard use that you put yours through.

For pistols other than the 1911, they have worked fine.  I have to surgically remove the sweat guard for the 1911 version. That is something that cannot be done with AG CT 3.0 or King Tuk without having the resources of good leather stitchery.

I have given up on CBST; the material seems thinner than it used to be and, while they can fit any length of pistol barrel, I like the protection that SHTF Gear holsters provide.  The AG holsters provide that same level of protection.  With that said, I have CBST holsters for 9mm and .45 acp Glocks and I am not about to invest in new holsters just because of my whim and whimsical meanderings in pistol craft.

Unless I do something stupid and purchase a pistol that i don't have a holster for, I am at the end of buying IWB holsters. I am expecting one for the Springfield XDs 4.0 and CZ 75B Omega pistols.  All other pistols are covered in one way or another.

I only have two OWB holsters yet to obtain (at the current time) and they are for my single action revolvers; a Slim Jim holster for the 1873 Uberti Colt SAA and a Slim-Jim Holster to fit the 8-inch barreled Uberti 1858 and 1875 revolvers. Luckily I had a holster that works well with the Uberti 1871 and 1872 Colt open-top revolvers.

To tell you the truth, I am about holstered out. I tend to go overboard, at times.

I will say that all of my holsters are not wasted, but it sure would be easier on the bank account if I only owned one handgun.

  • Do an on-line search for Smiley Face Animations. From the result listing, there are numerous sites where you can download the animations.
  • Click one that you like to pull it up for review.
  • Perform a right click with your pointing device.
  • From the menu, select the save as option.
  • Save to the desired location on your PC (I normally save to the desktop and transfer where I want them later).
  • Close the selected animation and repeat 2 through 6, as desired.

Well, as promised,  here's at least part of a comparison.

Top is the AG 2.0.
Middle is the AG 3.0.
Bottom is American Holster Company "Invisi-Tuck".

Many similarities and yet many differences.

I like all of them.  And as one can see, I've used the bottom holster a great deal.

Anyways, here they are...all three.

In the attachment options, to the right, try selecting either in-line expandable thumbnail or in-line full size.  That should get you what you want.

I would do a new post because sometimes it is a pain to try and remove an attachment.

Try again, Grasshopper.
