To my wife on Valentine's Day
« on: February 14, 2014, 06:09:10 AM »
The moment I laid eyes on you, my heart just understood that in you, I'd found my destiny. I somehow sensed that you were like no one I'd known before. You touched my soul and made it whole and shook me to the core. Life with you beside me proves that I was right, it seems. There is no one who comes close to you sweet woman of my dreams.

The above was in a card given to my wife at breakfast this morning. Through the conversation it was brought up that I wanted the whole world to know how I felt about her, and that I am reminded each and every day WHY I married her. She didn't think I would tell you guys on Gun Toters. She was wrong and here is the proof, even though I didn't know exactly where to put this post.

Also, it was pointed out that Taurian's wifey bought "HIM" a brand new stainless SR9 9mm Luger for Christmas. Ya' know guys, sometimes you just gotta plant a seed and see if it grows.  ;)

Nice work, Joe!

Jean and I went to bed late, so it was past Midnight when we got into the bedroom.
On each pillow was a card.
Mine (to her) was a lot like yours. Hers (to me) pictured two trees, intertwined in both branches and roots, and said, "I love how we grow together!"

...Yeah, she did kinda go out on a limb with that one.

OK... Time for me to, um, leave.

Lucky Man, Lucky Couple!  Congrats to you both!
Everyday I write the truth to who I am by what I do.
Life achieves its summit, when it does the uttermost what it was equipped to do.
It's always easier to shift the responsibility of one's existence, to lean on others rather than stand alone, but I refuse to place my destiny in another's hands.
