Magnificent Chilled Grape Salad

Magnificent
Chilled Grape Salad

This is simple, takes about fifteen minutes to make and goes with almost any main course!

(Optional time:  If you like toasted pecans, you can toast about 1 cup crushed at 350 ahead of time)

Wash and dry 1 bag of red grapes and one bag of green grapes.  Seedless is best.  If you want different colors, you can use all green or mix several colors as you like.

Blend together:
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz sour cream
½ cup of sugar
 Mix until smooth.

Mix the above with the grapes until well covered.

Take the 1 cup of toasted nuts and mix it with ½ to ¾ cup of brown sugar.  Sprinkle over the grapes.  If you have brown sugar left after sprinkling, drizzle the remainder over the grapes.  Optional additions to the brown sugar:  light touch of cinnamon or vanilla.

Chill in refrigerator if desired, but this serves very well as soon as you make it!

Sounds excellent, and will have to try this next weekend; but one quick question, how long do you toast the pecans for at 350F?

You kind of watch them because every oven is a bit different.  I start with about ten minutes and then watch through the glass in the door.
