Thanks!  Some great stuff there, perfect for an otherwise slow and snowy night.

Aye, we got a dew inches, pretty unusual this time of year, Halloween is looking to be pretty cold and miserable for those out hunting candy.

And back OT:

A couple  other webstites with some interesting stories and interesting articles talking about self defense. they're geared towards law enforcement as the names imply, but a lot of the defense articles apply to anyone looking to improve their safety or training regimens.

Thank you Robert that is a very good site.  The first artcle I read I think every one should read.   Here it is.
Unintended Consequences of Silence
This article first appeared in the Network's November 2009 journal.

by Marty Hayes, J.D.

You cannot read an Internet firearms forum these days without running across a thread about what to say to the police after a self-defense shooting. The in-vogue advice from Internet pundits is, “Say nothing. Demand to speak to a lawyer.” And, that is very good advice, if you are a criminal.

I copyied the the whole article but when I got to the bottom i noticed it was copywrited so i deleted must of it, but I highly recomend going to the site and reading it.
Sorry i dont know how to do attachments yet but it is the site  Robert posted.

Been raining here for the past couple of days and all our snow is gone from the roofs and drive....temps in the high 40s.  But this happens every Winter and the cold is bound to return.

Thanks to all for the very kind words on the ACLDN Journal.  As the author of the Networking column, I hope to provide people with information they can use and the latest happenings with our affiliate gun shops, ranges, instructors and attorneys.

You can find it, and all other things that relate to the Network, at www.armedcitizensnetwork.org.

As an aside, our founder, Marty Hayes, and Vincent Shuck, will be attending SHOT come January in Vegas.  If anyone from this site  is planning to attend, you may see them there.  They'd love to meet you, shake your hand and talk!
