Am wondering if I should pick up that LCP I noted for sale in my local weekly paper.  What do you think, $249 a good price?

Excellent price for my area. They run $299 here.
If I didn't have a Kahr P380, I would buy one.

I really like my LCP. As one who likes the PF-9, I'm sure you will like the LCP. It has a similar DAO trigger. The price you stated is about as good as I have seen for a new LCP.

Overall, Ruger is doing things right these days, in my opinion. I also have an LCR which I like better than S&W J frames. Another real winner in Ruger's stable is the SR series pistols. In particular, the SR40 has a nice innovation that reduces felt recoil. A friend of mine has one that I have shot and reduction in recoil over a S&W M&P .40 is noticeable. And the price is very attractive.

It is not just Ruger, Remington, & Mossberg I think are also way behind. G2G

The Company expects to resume the normal acceptance of orders by the end of May 2012.
End of May huh, good luck with that. Nice problem for Ruger to have though...

Just add it up to all the new CCWers out there, as well as folks are just buying more weapons these days...works for me.
