I believe that, in the future, history will see him as having been much more important to our nation than many of us now give him credit for being.

I really believe that he was a special kind of politician.
He always made his decisions based on what he thought was best for the country not his pocket.

I've never had any issues with John McCain.
I know the scuttlebutt.
Rumor was that he "talked" while being tortured.

Well let me tell you some facts of life. EVERYBODY BREAKS at some point.
I decided during POW training that I'd never be one. Nope, I'd either fight till they killed me or I'd get away, or if worse came to worse, I'd shoot myself before they'd have a chance to do worse to me.
Training was enough to convince me that being a real POW is NOT for me.

If he did break during torture, then that says he's human. Anyone else would break too. It's just a matter of time.

Nope. I had no issues with the man.

RIP John McCain.

Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight, and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be.  One hundred percent and then some.

Just the idea of torture bothers me a lot.
My body and my brain tell me that it is not a very nice thing.
