http://privateofficerbreakingnews.blogspot.com/2017/04/orlando-security-company-investigated.html

the guards were upset because guns and drugs were found and the police did not arrest any one for the guns and drugs they collected.
Talk about messing things up.
sure lets illegally go in and raid people.
then claim they had drugs and guns.
hope the police side with us and not with the people raided.

Time will tell.

the only rights they had in my opinion was to evict them legally, if they are doing drugs, etc.

Time will tell.

I am licensed in the state of Florida as an armed Security Guard. Every class I ever took, stressed one important fact. Your job is to OBSERVE AND REPORT. Period.  I am sure that the lawyers will point out something close to that when this thing goes to trial.  As far as the hotel saying that they can pull off these raids because it happened on their private property, well, that may be true, however, they rented those rooms to those people and they  basically belong to the renter for the term of the contract.

CONTRACT. Now there's a word for 'ya. It's anybody's guess what the contract says about renting the rooms. I would doubt that it says that hired guns can burst into my room at anytime if they think I am doing something illegal. But, this is Florida. It wouldn't surprise me. Seems we have a lot of "snowflakes" down here for being the "Sunshine State".

I believe the owners of the property had good intentions. As this story unfolds, we'll find out whether they were legal or not.  I wouldn't bet my entire paycheck on it though.
