Kimber Releases New Models of K6s Revolver
« on: March 23, 2017, 09:23:57 AM »
I handled one of these this past weekend.  It is a very nice revolver with a weird trigger.  I say weird because  the action seems to "stage" as soon as the trigger is pulled slightly rearward.  From that point, it is a long pull, which is indicative of most double-action revolvers.  The trigger would take some getting used to if you are used to a trigger staging late in the rearward travel like a S&W, Ruger, etc.

Nonetheless, the Kimber revolver is a nice piece of work - and the price indicates just how nice a piece of work it is.

What most 21st Century Americans simply do not grasp is that the Constitution and Bill of Rights were not written to to give rights to the citizens of our then-new nation, but was instead written to tightly constrain the federal government.

I wish that I liked revolvers for defensive carry, because if I did, I'd buy one of those Kimbers.
But if I bought one of those Kimbers, I'd probably grow to like a revolver for defensive carry.
So I'm glad that they're too damn' expensive, so I can't buy one. So I can still not like revolvers.

Did he really say that?????
"We will have a good government as long as those that govern are effected by those laws that they pass. When those that are passing the laws are no longer effected by those laws then they will no longer pass good laws."

Well, I do like the lines, material, workmanship, caliber, and that it's a six shooter rather than a five.

It looks cool, for sure.

Too bad it's a revolver.  Just kidding.
I like revolvers  I  like autos.
I like lever actions.
I like pumps.
I like belt fed.
I like tube magazines.
I like box magazines.

I like them all.

Sigh, in today's world where dangerous people threats are very likely to attack with magazine fed high capacity weapons, it makes complete sense to accouter oneself with at least a basic set of comparable weapons and accessories worthy of countering a likely attack.
(Wow.  All that in one sentence.)
