Who owns the Guntoter site.  A USCCA member who was growing tired of the recent and intended changes to that forum has put this free forum together.

What is the purpose of Guntoters?  Our purpose is to give CCWers a free place to discuss everything connected with concealed carrying as well as other pertinent issues.

Thank you for establishing this and I would have no problems if you wanted to put up a " donate" paypal button at some time, just to help out.  I belong to several other websites, it's totally voluntary and just helps defray the cost.....again, thanks for setting this up.  Nice to be " HOME"......

I'll second that. Until this list can attract some advertisers to defray the costs, I'd be willing to throw at least the cost of a cheap box of ammo towards the upkeep of this forum.

Count me in for the cost of a box or two of ammo.  It's nice to have a place to go where someone isn't always trying to sell me something, or convince me if I don't have their widget, i'm going to fall over and die.

I'm in also for a donation for use however you need to use it. Is there a Paypal way to pay? I use that on other sites I support and it seems to work well for little-ol-me.

Currently the admins are looking into what the rules are for accepting/making donations, what can be done, can't be done, and how it works.

Once we have it all worked out and legal we'll let you know.  8)

Thanks for the new forum, I know we will attract some great people on here. I'm good for a paypal donation for the cost of a couple boxes of ammo. Donations like that will keep the forum going.

I don't know exactly who started this forum, it is very appreciated!

I, too, would contribute something to the upkeep of the place if y'all add a 'Donate' button.  Seems the least I can do for the knowledge I expect to gain...

We do have an active "donations button" available now, in the upper tool bar next to the "logout" button. Feel free to donate as much (or as little) as you like.  :)

It's a "FORUM"... nobody has to like everybody all the time.

If we did it would be like watching "Ozzie and Harriet" day after day after day. (from a friend of many...)

Hummm. I must have missed something. ???
I can tell that sometimes we edge up towards heated debates about one thing or another, but so far I've not ever felt like it got out of hand. I am guilty of making a few sparks fly, but I do try to maintain decency and respect on a personal level.
I too am in a couple other forums but I don't feel as comfortable anywhere else like I do here in GT.
Thanks to all for making this forum a great place to share and share alike!
Cheers!

Given the thread dates all the way back to Jan 7th for the most recent post before his, I figured as much. ;)

I want to reply properly.
Recently I reconfigured my computer from 3 to 2 operating systems.
I am now and want to use DreamLinux5 (I recommend it for those who can).
There are some bugs yet to be straightened out with my console.
Please indulge me while I get it worked out.  I know that punctuation is not quite right yet.

Love to all, and HEY! LOCK AND LOAD and stay awake.  Good advice.

Oh, Chuck...
I think that you've hit on the one picture which defines our modern times!

The, um, water-closet has been used as a phone-booth for quite a long time, but only for the higher economic classes.
We had a cousin who was so deeply involved in making money that he had a phone in every toilet-room in his home, and, of course, one in his personal executive toilet at work.

Jean and I have stayed in the occasional (expensive) hotel in which there was a phone in the bathroom. (But we wouldn't use it; neither for incoming calls, nor for outgoing calls.)
