The fact that the GOVERNMENT would even consider removing the natural right to bear arms is the very reason why the 2nd Amendment was written.

Excellent!

The thing you mentioned at the beginning of the review, about "discovery" really hits home with me.

Until I became active on these forums, first as a member of USCCA and then on GT and a couple others, I thought of myself as a very knowledgeable "gun guy", etc, etc...

Fact is, however, I've learned so much from all you guys since about 2011 or so, that I realize there's ALWAYS more to learn, more to know, more to experience.  There's no "one guy" who knows it all.

This review solidifies my commitment to get my own 1911 (again...haven't had one in almost 20 years) and start learning that again, as well!

Thanks! Great review!

Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight, and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be.  One hundred percent and then some.

While I have owned, do own, carried, and shot pistols other than the 1911 platform, I keep gravitating back to them for some reason. In most cases the pistol is too small and I end up putting a good set of Hogue wraparound grips to fit my hand. However, the 1911 platform just works for me, in whatever caliber and in whatever physical size. The 1911 is like an old pair of comfortable shoes to me.

If you are interested in a 1911-based pistol, there are several of us who can help with selecting one - and some that will dissuade you from having one.  Let us know if we can help.
