Title: Single-hand manipulations
Post by: CR Williams on June 14, 2017, 05:16:07 AM
A simple drill:

Go to the range, pick one shooting drill. Whatever you want to do. Now, prep the gun and run the drill from beginning to end with just one hand. Everything. Initial load and chambering, any checks you make prior to shooting, holstering, draw, fire, reload, any required malfunction clearance, everything until the drill is complete without at any time touching the gun with your other hand. Then do it again with the other hand the same way. (If you're not confident with holstering, start the drill with the gun in the other hand. Stay within your limitations, stay safe, do not risk yourself. Practice dry until you feel consistent and safe. Then you can run hot if you want.)

That's it. Enjoy.

I haven't been around for a while, Steve. Won't be as much as I was, either.
