Title: Sunday load out
Post by: oldranger53 on April 22, 2018, 05:56:25 AM
Well, I decided this year that if and when I dress up for events, like a church service, opera performance, and generally all day of any Sunday, that I would like to "dress up" in the accoutrement department as well.
Attached is my current Sunday load out.

Spice of life!(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180422/a41c61e72268b34f67792036836cd223.jpg)

My eyes! My eyes!

It's all that glare from the mother-of-p..., um, pearl.

BTW: I just love the way that holster places the pistol w-a-a-a-y above the belt! That's exactly right!
...But for me, I'd add a Tyler T-grip to the pistol.

Thanks Steve!
Remember way WAY back, to the USCCA days?...of course you do!
That holster is the "High Ride" model, from American Holster Company.
I ordered it after seeing this guy and his work in one of the 2011 (I think) issues of the magazine.  I sure miss that magazine.
Anyways, I also think a great deal of the height of the ride.

As I recall, I also bought one of his all leather IWB rigs.
When I put the revolvers into the backfield, back in 2014, the holsters also went with them.
Recently I dug them out and spruced them up a bit.

I wonder how old "Tactical Tim" is doing with his enterprise these days?

Kewl.

I'd go with a 1911, though.
I'm thinking THIS YEAR I'll finally break down and get myself a 1911.
It's been 20 years since my last one.

So many guns, so little time and $$$

This will be the year!  I'm committed.

As a side note, it appears that American Holster Company is starting to work on back orders - from way back.

Apparently, the owner has been battling cancer and cancer treatments for some time.

I foresee a lightweight 'Commander' or 'Officer' module in your future or both. But, then again, you may want all three sizes to get you through the four seasons, as applicable. :>)

I believe you may be correct!

Hummm, at least two Fer sure.
One stainless steel (polished of course) with Mother of Pearl grips. One "Tactical", with appropriate trimmings.

Yes, those two should scratch the itch, for a while that is.

I didn't know.
He treated me very well in our transactions, BTW.
