Reminder to self:  Detroit is not a place to ever want to visit!

Note to self:  If you shoot a guy 4 times and he can still kill you, you're not carrying enough gun!

Point to ponder:  How/why does a guy get shot in the face and 3 other places and still have enough capacity left to kill ya?

Question to self:  Think maybe the CC'er might be getting himself a bigger caliber weapon?

Kid in the back seat the shooting was justified. The face shot could be a cheek crease. Car Jacker that shots first. I'm glad he finished last. G2G

A shot to the head does not necessarily mean a shot to the brain, and even a shot to the brain isn't necessarily lethal if it doesn't hit certain parts of the brain. There is a 'Golden Triangle' on the face as well as on the chest, anyone contemplating the necessity of the head shot should study what is sometimes called the No-Reflex point of aim.

You're right CR.  I was just knee-jerking to 4 shots...

The article was so convoluted that it was difficult for me to follow the story line about the two different women...but I'm glad the gentleman who defended himself against the puke of a carjacker was able to neutralize the threat.

So maybe those of us who live or plan to travel to high crime
areas, should also consider a Bullet Proof vest of some sort.
This was discussed over on the other forum as well, for a
while.  But then a BP vest won't cover the head...
