The article says;

1. If your buying then the Fed's must think you are awake & aware = Dangerous?
2. When T$HTF they want to know where to come & get it!

The CDC wants you to be able to take care of yourself (family) in an emergency. They had a Zombie adds preaching that. It is a one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. G2G

Well, wife and I "hoard" a little food here and there.  It usually turns out to be very drygoods that will last for many years - and that, in amounts that we can carry on our backs, or in one or two vehicles.  And, certainly not enough to be counted as "true horders."

I always figure that IF TSHTF, and we actually need those drygoods, then we (read: "I") will be able to secure enough food from other sources to see us through whatever crisis in foisted upon us.

I don't know how much food is "enough" to hoard.

I have an old friend in ND who hoards so much food that they cannot possibly carry it all, should the need arise.  I believe that to be a waste of time and energy.  Yet, if a body is fit enough to pack whatever food they need for two to three days - and in rare cases perhaps a week or so, then I think it is a good idea.

I found out in the Army that I can (and have) lived on nothing but ramen noodles for extended periods of time.  Ya just gotta have enough hot sauce to kill the taste and make it more interesting.

Ok.  I'll stop short of talking about rat meat and other additives one can make ramen noodles more interesting with.  (you're welcome!)

Ciao.
Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight, and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be.  One hundred percent and then some.
