I think as long as they keep killing each other the problem might just take care of itself.

I think that cartel's communique is hog wash.  But if Mexico wants to rely on vacationers then they have to do something about the cartels.  I sent my border patrol buddy that link and will see what he thinks of it.

The trouble is that they are not just killing each other. They kill police chiefs, mayors, journalists, and even bloggers. http://www.borderlandbeat.com/2011/11/mexican-drug-cartel-kills-blogger.html Many innocents are killed for no apparent reason other than to create fear among the Mexican population.

Well I understand what they are doing, and as long as Mexico's president allows them to do that, I am sure places like Mexico City won't be popular with tourists!  When they figure that out, maybe they will do something.  So what's the US involvement in Mexico, other than 'fast and furious?'  Does Mexico look to it's northern neighbor to help them with this problem?

Well here we go folks . . . .
The "War on Drugs" will soon be a "Real War."
Or maybe I should say "Is already a real war" . . . tanks, drones, snipers coming right up.
"We will have a good government as long as those that govern are effected by those laws that they pass. When those that are passing the laws are no longer effected by those laws then they will no longer pass good laws."
