I, a male, found this article while crusing the net, thought it was interesting "Living Social" magazine has been running articals for women about concealed carry.

Hi Ladies, a guy here. There is a web site that I know of that is written mostly by a woman, for women. She also addresses issues like children and shopping while armed. I thought that I might pass it along. One of my other forums has the site listed as a "Sticky".

The cornered cat, excellent resource, and a great book to get any gal in your life that's uneducated about concealed firearms and why we choose to carry them.   8)

(In particular her pragmatic approach to educating her young boy to firearms was especially well thought out and a good method for those unsure how to introduce their children to firearms.)
