Was Reported to The Sherriff
« on: August 14, 2019, 05:31:41 AM »
Yes, people will report anything. My daughter and grandson was mowing my yard, last week, and my grandson was weed eating beside the road when a deputy pulled up, with his lights flashing, and said someone called in a report that there was 3" of grass covering the road, which was a total untruth.

The Deputy wanted to know if they were going to blow the road off when they were finished.  Go figure!

My daughter said a newer marron dodge truck drove by 2 times then parked in the driveway, just down the street, then left when the cruiser pulled up. It had an Illinois tag on it. "Yankies," how'd they ever get here in TN?

Ah, those Progressives: Telling you how to live your life to their specifications.

My suggestion: Report them to the Sheriff for something trivial, too.

Their next step: If you don't live their way, they'll "red flag" you.

Actually, Chuck, I believe that Hester got pretty unlucky. Even Arthur Dimmesdale got pretty damn' unlucky, all things considered.

(Our high school English teacher graded us with a red pencil. And, yes, I got an "A" for my essay on Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter.)
