The fact that the GOVERNMENT would even consider removing the natural right to bear arms is the very reason why the 2nd Amendment was written.

Well just of a matter of input into this stream of conversation.
I am one of those folks that helped out Old Smith-Wesson . . . . .

One of the things I found when I first turned 80 was that I had to slow down.
My eyes were not reacting fast enough and it was taking a tad linger to get that sight picture.

So I started focusing on accuracy only and just plain took the time I needed to get that sight picture.
The speed that I had built in took care of itself.
Now I feel much better at matches cause I am getting the hits and of course my time is slow.
But the satisfaction as the scorers call out zero on the misses just makes me feel that much better.

I will never get back the speed that I had . . . . .
The body keeps telling me that, but at least I am hitting what I am shooting at a heck of a lot more.
It took a while and this week I turn 82 and am looking forward to the match next week.
I even went out and bought a new gun for next year.
I got a Smith-Wesson 625 revolver and getting my brass back is a lot easier with a moon clip holding the 6 rounds all together.
Plus I started out, way back when, with a revolver . . . . so its kinda like gone full circle.
Plus I am still shooting 45 ACP . . . . . my favorite cartridge and I have a bunch of them already reloaded.

Happy Birthday, Chuck.
I'll try to catch up with you... I'm only two years behind.

That little toad, Hogg, probably helped their bottom line.
