Trippin Again
« on: March 29, 2017, 05:27:15 AM »
Will be leaving Monday (April 3) to travel to Branson, Mo. Going to take in the play "Moses" in the Sight and Sound Theater while there among other attractions.

The next week we will be going to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and staying with our youngest daughter and her family (two youngest g-kids) for their Spring Break week.

Then coming back home, for a couple weeks, and leaving for the Cowboy Way Festival at the Gene Autry Museum located in Gene Autry/Ardmore Oklahoma area. We will be joined by two other camping couples on this one. Going to have a stopover at  Oklahoma City too view the Murrow Building Site/ N Park, and going through the Museum located there.

Leaving there and traveling to Gene Autry/Ardmore for the fest. Three actors of the Virginian TV show will be in attendance. James Dury(The Virginian) , Roberta Shore(Betsy) and Gary Clark(Steve) will be there along with the Sons Of The Pioneers, and Rex Allen Jr, and his band, will play concerts during the 3 day Festival.

Leaving there, on the following Monday, we will then travel on to Waco, Texas. Hope to  see the Chip and Joanna Gain's Magnolia site and visiting the Waco area.

Then on to the LBJ Ranch N P, viewing it,  then traveling to the Alamo and River Walk in San Antonio.

Afterwards will be headed back to Mid TN with a stopover at Texarkana, then Hot Springs Arkansas. Also will stop in Memphis to see the Bass Pro Shop located in the Memphis Pyramid, then on back home.

Looking to have a good time! Camping season is getting off to a large start.

It is great that you can travel like that, pop pop!
What most 21st Century Americans simply do not grasp is that the Constitution and Bill of Rights were not written to to give rights to the citizens of our then-new nation, but was instead written to tightly constrain the federal government.
