Whenever I Need my Spirit Lifted in a Light-Hearted Manner...
« on: February 01, 2017, 08:15:19 AM »
...I simply read a "Best Gun" article; they are always a source of amusement.

This one is no exception:

Top 10 Best Guns for Survival: http://lockedandloaded.com/top-10-best-guns-for-survival/
What most 21st Century Americans simply do not grasp is that the Constitution and Bill of Rights were not written to to give rights to the citizens of our then-new nation, but was instead written to tightly constrain the federal government.

Can't wait.
I'll go read it, then return.

EDITED: OK, I'm back.
Funny that the person doing the article included the .50 cal.
I wonder if he (or she) got paid money for that article?
Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight, and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be.  One hundred percent and then some.

Thanks Taurian. In all my readings I have never come across the correct way to spell "shhhick-shickt", until now. Thank you so much!   8)

No problemo!  I am always happy to assist one in expanding his vocabulary.  However, note that "shhhick-shickt" only applies to the Remington 870 because of its steel receiver. The Mossberg line of shotguns, because of their aluminum receiver, makes a "shhhick-shict" sound.  ;D

...And how the heck am I supposed to carry all those guns around with me?
A 6x6 truck? A slightly used Bren Carrier? A rebuilt M3? A safari crew?
