ArmaLite Recall
« on: December 16, 2016, 04:06:46 PM »
From the NRA Rifleman Jan.2017 magazine:

A safety issue regarding select ArmaLite rifles has been followed by an immediate recall. Owners of ArmaLite models AR-10, SPR Mod 1, SPR Mod 2, M15 and Eagle-15 are urged to call (866)594-9103. A defective rifle will exhibit double discharges with one trigger press. The company states a problem may exist with the disconnector and hammer due to faulty third-party vendor manufacturing.

Hummm sounds like some Armalite owners may have full auto rifles for semi auto prices.

Just kidding.

I had a new to me Olympic Arms AR years ago. First two rounds were a double, scared the you know what out of me. I took it apart and cleaned it again and it never occurred again.
