The law of the jungle...
« on: July 26, 2016, 05:07:31 PM » far superior to the ideology of globalism

The fact that the GOVERNMENT would even consider removing the natural right to bear arms is the very reason why the 2nd Amendment was written.

Steve's Mindwalk:

In the past, the "law of the jungle" was a system under which only the strong and vicious prosper, and the weak can survive only by being servile.
That was back in the day when you needed strength and determination to effectively wield a sword or a mace. If you couldn't be effective with large, heavy edged weapons, you needed to find ways to appease those who could.

And then came firearms, and everything changed. Effectiveness with firearms was not quite so dependent upon strength and endurance, although prosperity still demanded viciousness and ruthlessness.

When the physically weak were able to prosper by viciousness and ruthlessness without loosing their heads to those who were able to cut them off, politics was born.
Politics is control of the strong by the weak, by means of intellectual argument and mental maneuvers.

But the vicious and the ruthless soon were outnumbered by the bovine and the foolish, and, by means of the political system, Political Correctness became the Law of the Land.
And under Political Correctness, the bovine and foolish sought to "level the playing field," and thereby make everyone equal: Equally bovine and equally foolish.

And thus, political parties were created, and the Democrats soon ruled the land.

I'll take one of each, please!

Oh, and I'll bet that "Law Of The Jungle" thing isn't exactly the same as our "Jungle Rules" that emerged...well, while in the jungle.
There are similarities between the two, naturally.  But not exactly the same, I assert.

Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight, and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be.  One hundred percent and then some.
